It is a psychotherapy technique that can be used with children between age 3 to 10, based on the ideology that play is a natural language that small children use to express themselves with. Inside the play therapy room, I provide a safe space for children where they can express themselves freely, realise their emotional world, gain confidence and replace maladaptive coping strategies with adaptive ones.
Throughout the psychotherapy sessions, we are working on difficulties children and adolescents experiencing. I provide a personalised plan according to each child's needs and support parents during the process .
I benefit from evidence based psychotherapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Short-term Solution Focused Therapy, Systematic Family Therapy and Schema Therapy.
Young adulthood (ages 18 to 30) is considered as one of the most stressful life period where individuals try to discover their life aims, decide their career path, gain independence, balance their personal relationships etc.
I help them walk through these years with more clarity, awareness and adaptive stress management techniques.
Parenthood brings so much unknown and new responsibilities to individuals' life. I provide counselling to parents about developmental periods of children and adolescents, boundary and rule settings, intra- family communication issues, adaptation skills to changes such as immigration process.
